Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy TechVillage has launched DQ – Desi Quotient, a contemporary Indian dining destination at Embassy TechVillage on Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road. Spread across 3,500 sq ft, DQ brings together India’s diverse regional flavours, culinary traditions, craftsmanship and contemporary culture in a vibrant social setting.

At the heart of DQ is “The Story of Bharat, on a Plate.” The menu is organised around India’s geography, taking guests across regions, communities and culinary traditions rather than simply following conventional course-based dining. The dishes draw from home recipes and memories contributed by members of the DQ culinary and beverage team, giving the menu a personal connection to the places it represents. The menu journeys from railway platforms and street food stalls to family kitchens and regional specialities, with highlights including Ajmer Station Kadhi Kachori, Champaran Mutton, Donne Chicken Biryani, Mangalore Chicken Sukka, Chha Gosht with Siddu, Pakhala Bhaat and Chenna Poda. The beverage programme complements this journey with familiar Indian favourites such as Nimbu Pani, Ragi Ambli, Paacha Manga Saru, Gud Nu Shikanji, Narasu’s Coffee and Dhaba Kadak Chai.

Abhiram Menon, Cluster General Manager, Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy TechVillage Outer Ring Road, said, “With DQ – Desi Quotient, we wanted to create more than a restaurant. It is a space that celebrates the richness and diversity of India through food, craft, music and stories, while presenting them in a way that feels contemporary and relevant to Bengaluru. We believe DQ will offer our guests and the wider city a distinctive social dining experience rooted in the many flavours and cultures of Bharat.”

Gaurav Anand, Cluster Director of Culinary, Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy TechVillage,  said, “The menu at DQ is deeply personal because many of its dishes are inspired by recipes, memories and food traditions shared by our own team. Rather than approaching Indian cuisine through a conventional menu format, we wanted guests to travel across the country through every plate — discovering flavours from railway stations, street-side favourites, family kitchens and regional celebrations. It is our way of telling the story of India through food that feels familiar, authentic and full of character.”

The experience extends beyond the plate. DQ’s interiors reinterpret Indian craftsmanship through a contemporary lens, featuring handcrafted Lippan art, warm timber, exposed brick, woven rattan, handcrafted brass pendants and a traditional Kerala boat reimagined as an art installation. The restaurant’s music follows the same philosophy, blending desi house and Indian fusion with traditional instruments such as tabla, dhol, sarangi and bansuri, creating an evolving soundtrack that shifts with the energy of the day to evening.

Located within the 84-acre Embassy TechVillage, Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy Tech Village is positioned as “The Smarter Stay on ORR”. The hotel offers 211 rooms, thoughtful amenities, Hilton Honors benefits and intuitive service designed to support seamless and productive stays. It forms part of a 529-key dual-branded development comprising the 211-key Hilton Garden Inn and the forthcoming 318-key Hilton Hotels & Resorts property.

Alongside Merigo, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, DQ adds a distinctly Indian social dining experience to the property—bringing together regional food, personal stories, Indian craft and contemporary energy under one roof.
