Dr. Prabha S. Chandra, Director, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, was the chief guest for the first session and urged graduates to apply engineering and technology to address challenges in healthcare and society, while emphasising resilience, meaningful contribution and lifelong learning.
Dr. Navakanta Bhat, Dean, Division of Interdisciplinary Sciences, IISc, Bengaluru, addressed the second session and highlighted the transformative potential of AI, encouraging graduates to develop interdisciplinary expertise, embrace continuous learning and build solutions through deep-tech innovation.
Dr. M.P. Shyam, Chairman, Governing Body, RVCE, and President, RSST, presided over the ceremony, along with senior representatives and trustees of RSST.
Dr. K.N. Subramanya, Principal, RVCE, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the graduating batch’s achievements in academics, research, innovation and industry engagement. He urged the graduates to uphold professional ethics, pursue innovation, embrace lifelong learning and contribute meaningfully to society.
A total of 1,653 students received their degree certificates, while 29 Gold Medals, 28 Silver Medals and 152 Rank Holder recognitions were presented for academic excellence.
