HAI Conclave 2026 concluded with more than 800 participants, new collaborations between healthcare providers, AI innovators and startups, and a shared call for responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence across India's healthcare ecosystem.
Hosted by Global Healthcare Academy (GHA), the two-day conclave brought together clinicians, researchers, healthcare leaders, policymakers, technology companies, startups and investors to explore how Artificial Intelligence is moving from innovation to real-world healthcare applications while keeping patient outcomes and clinical expertise at the centre.
Held under the theme "Building Future-Ready Health Ecosystems," the conclave featured five scientific tracks covering AI in Drug Discovery, AI in Preventive Medicine, AI in Treatment, AI in Health Informatics and AI in Diagnostics. Across more than 40 keynote sessions, panel discussions and case-based presentations, experts showcased how AI is already transforming healthcare through faster drug discovery, earlier diagnosis, clinical decision support, precision medicine, improved workflows and expanded access to quality care.
The conclave featured participation from 100+ speakers across healthcare, technology, academia and industry, highlighting practical applications of AI and reinforcing the importance of ethical implementation, clinical relevance and collaboration between healthcare professionals and technology innovators.
A major highlight was The Pitch Dock, the dedicated Health AI startup pavilion that enabled startups to connect directly with hospital leaders, investors, technology partners and decision-makers. The platform accelerated conversations around adoption, partnerships and future investment while creating opportunities for real-world implementation of emerging healthcare solutions.
Adding to the conclave's key milestones, the Global Surgical Institute (GSI), part of the Global Healthcare Academy ecosystem, unveiled ALEX, an AI-powered Patient Communication Simulator. Designed to strengthen clinical reasoning, communication and decision-making through immersive simulation, the launch reflects GHA's continued commitment to advancing AI-enabled healthcare education and preparing future-ready healthcare professionals.
The conclave also featured a dedicated roundtable with Vice Chancellors from across different states, focusing on the role of Artificial Intelligence in strengthening India's education ecosystem. The discussion explored opportunities to integrate AI into healthcare education, build future-ready professionals and create responsible frameworks to prepare the next generation of healthcare leaders.
Dr. B. S. Ajaikumar, Executive Chairman, Global Healthcare Academy, said, "What we witnessed over the past two days was not simply interest in Artificial Intelligence, but genuine collaboration between healthcare and technology. The coming together of clinicians, researchers, innovators and policymakers reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that AI is developed and adopted responsibly to create meaningful impact for patients."
Anitha Niranjan, Managing Director, Global Healthcare Academy, said, "HAI Conclave was envisioned as a platform where healthcare, technology and policy could come together to shape the future of health. The conversations started here should continue through partnerships, research, education and implementation, creating a connected Health AI ecosystem that drives meaningful change beyond the conclave."
As conversations concluded, one message resonated across HAI Conclave 2026: The future of healthcare will not be shaped by technology alone, but by meaningful collaboration between clinicians, researchers, innovators, startups, investors and policymakers working together to improve patient care.
By bringing together diverse stakeholders from across the healthcare and technology ecosystem, HAI Conclave 2026 has strengthened the foundation for a more connected, responsible and future-ready Health AI landscape.
