Unity in Diversity : Over 40 nationalities celebrates Diwali at Canadian International School showcasing multicultural spirit
The Canadian International School (CIS), Bangalore lit up with joy and colour as the entire school community came together to celebrate its annual Diwali festivity. This year's event was a heartwarming reflection of CIS's multicultural spirit, with students from all grade levels, alongside teachers and parents, taking the stage to deliver a spectacular series of performances

With over 40 nationalities represented across the school, the celebration was truly global in character while rooted in Indian tradition. Traditional music and dance forms blended seamlessly with international interpretations, highlighting CIS's inclusive ethos and commitment to cultural understanding.

The event began with a symbolic diya-lighting ceremony, reaffirming the school's commitment to spreading kindness, inclusivity, and hope.  One of the most memorable moments of the event was the delightful performance by the Senior Kindergarten students, who brought the story of Diwali to life with innocence and charm. Their retelling of the victory of light over darkness captured the hearts of the entire audience, earning joyful cheers and warm applause.
