RK Trust, the philanthropic arm of RK Group, is donating 1 lakh face masks to students who are sitting for the SSLC examinations tomorrow across 210 examination centres across South Bengaluru. The donation was made in partnership with the government of Karnataka as part of the 'Let's Mask India' initiative.
The 3-ply washable cloth masks are manufactured at 8 factories across the country, in an aesthetically pleasing design. 'Let's Mask India' is an initiative that aims at providing high-quality made-in-India face masks to the most deserving, whilst providing a livelihood to the garment workers who are manufacturing these masks. The initiativewas launched by theHon'ble CM BS Yeddyurappa at the Mask Day event at VidhanaSoudha on June 17th 2020. Over 1.25 lakh masks have already been donated to frontline workers, containment zones and for inter-state travelers.
