Jain College organized an ‘Orientation Program’, on first week of June 2019 for first year PU students of the batch 2019-20. The orientation program was inaugurated by the chief patrons Dr. B.T. Venkatesh, Director - PU Programs and Dr. Nalini Satish chandra, Principal, Jain College, Jayanagar. The program was conducted for the first year PUC students of the academic streams Science, Arts & Commerce. The students were briefed about the academic aspects, extracurricular activities, salient features of the college, and the beneficial factors of each program.
Some of the students were glad to meet their schoolmates joining the same organization.The senior grade students, pursuing II - PUC greeted a warm welcome and interacted with the fresher’s that gave a better idea about the college. The students were given insights about various student forums such as ‘Cultural Forum’, ‘Commerce Forum’ and ‘Science Forum’, Kannada Vedike, Hindi Parishad.
“I am glad that the orientation was organized because we were briefed on what college life will be like. We were also introduced to the different forums in the college, I have a great interest in Kannada poetry and I have already decided to take up responsibilities in Kannada Vedike,” says an excited student, Kaushik, who was visibly vibrant and excited to be in the college.
