WATER FOR PROGRESS

The Janata Party has announced the launch of the Janata Party Manifesto in the City today. The Manifesto was unveiled at a Press Conference by Dr. Vijay Mallya, National Working President, Janata Party. The theme of the Janata Party Manifesto indicates the need for change with a clear message 'Lets Change Karnataka'. The party has also declared that its single-minded focus is on the problems Karnataka faces with respect to water.

On the occasion Dr. Vijay Mallya said 'It is with great pride that we are announcing the Janata Party Manifesto, as in it is contained the crux of all our beliefs and intentions. We are committed to give top most priority to farmers, women, youth and children and look after the needs of senior citizens. The Janata Party is certain that we will usher in an era of prosperity and enhance the quality of life of every individual in society. We pledge that we will bring back the inherent pride contained in every Kannadiga and restore his vision of his homeland.'

Further he said that 'The Janata Party also shed light on its core vision in the Manifesto - to empower and enable the youth of India, to give top most priority to farmers and ensure that their hardships are removed, to bring about accountability in goverance and administration, to detect and punish corruption among people holding public office, to discourage people in power from prompting self interest and to ensure that people retire from holding any public office of power at sixtyfive years of age.'
