KURUBARA SANGHA URGES CONG-I TO SUPPORT SIDDARAMAIAH AS CHIEF MINISTER

In press conference today held at Bangalore, Mr. K. Doddanna, General Secretary, Karnataka Pradesh Kurubara Sangha urged the Congress to support Mr. Siddaramaiah as Chief Minister of Karnataka. Kuruba Community has not yet got Chiefministership since independence, even though it belongs to backward community. The government should be formed in the captaincy of Mr. Siddaramaiah, he adds.

Further he said 'In Karnataka there are 55 lakhs population of Kuruba Community and 10 crores throughout India and it is shame on our part since indepence no any person claimed the Chiefministership.'
