CREDAI ANNOUNCES ITS 8TH NATIONAL REAL ESTATE CONVENTION

New Delhi, India - CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India) announced the 8th National Real Estate convention, NATCON 2009 to be held from January 11 – 13, 2009 at The Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center and The Venetian, Macau.

The eighth edition of the National Convention of CREDAI is organized by the developer community and has the highest number of developers participating in a single event. Heads of organizations, top management, representatives of premier financial institutions, real estate funds, investors, government bodies, property advisors and real estate professionals attend it.

NATCON 2009 has been themed as “A learning Experience”, the event will provide with an opportunity for the developers to see world-class development happening in Macau and upgrade their knowledge. There will be enough material for “take home for developers” in terms of latest updates in Real Estate practices, construction technology, real estate finance, etc. The international scenario will be very much in focus and the format too is changing this time, to accommodate a larger participation and a wider range of interests. Parallel sessions addressing current concerns and issues of developers from micro cities, Tier II and Tier III locations in India as well as International Market will be organized at NATCON 2009.

According to Mr. Ranjit Naiknavare, Co Convenor, NATCON 2009, “The last one decade has seen a lot of consolidation in the real estate sector. While some Indian Companies have forayed into international shores, many foreign players have launched projects in India. We believe that with increasing globalization, the Indian real estate market is likely to be affected by the global market and vice-versa. In a highly volatile environment, it has become imperative to deliberate and discuss the trends and events that are likely to shape the future of the real estate sector. Therefore, this year we have moved one step further by inviting foreign delegates for the 8th NATCON in Macau. With each successive year we have been getting a tremendous response and this year too we expect NATCON to be a huge success in India as well as internationally.”
