India - INVISTA, the world's largest integrated fibers company

leading designers and garment brands at LYCRA(R) Rendezvous,
an event that has emerged as the vital source for both trends

in the event.

"We
expect XFIT LYCRA(R) fabric to change the landscape of denim
with its next-generation look and feel. It provides a wider
fit to accommodate more diverse body types, giving the wearer
a flattering alluring shape," said Marco Lucietti. "The
new sculpting technique also helps give jeans a lasting good
look because of improved shape memory, while looking and feeling
like authentic denim."
Andrew
Evans, Sales Director, INVISTA Apparel, South Asia, sharing
information about the new global advertising campaign for
the LYCRA(R) fiber brand, entitled "Some Clothes Love
You Back," said, "The campaign is built on the LYCRA(R)
fiber brand's unique understanding of how women are shaped,
how they move and how they want their clothing to look and
feel. With this very honest and personal new campaign, we
are further differentiating our customers' garments in the
crowded market place".
INVISTA
also showcased LYCRA(R) BLACK fiber, a path-breaking product
for the Intimate Apparel segment, for elegant and natural
looking black and dark fabrics that help resist fading with
washing. It represents a real breakthrough for lingerie and
underwear designers. LYCRA Black fiber stays black, even after
repeated wash cycles, thanks to its spun-dyed technology.
It also reduces the 'grin-through shiny effect' in dark fabric
shades; a phenomenon which often jeopardises the evenness
and intensity of colour.
LYCRA(R)
Rendezvous featured an array of fabric innovations exhibited
by leading mills from India that included, Arvind Mills Ltd.(Denim),
Carvico Spa Italy, Balavigna Weaving Mills Pvt. Ltd., Banswara
Syntex, K.G.Denim Ltd, Raymond UCO Denim, Vardhman Textiles
Limited, Alok Industries Limited and Bonjour International.
