Karnataka’s young Para swimming sensation Gopichand was honored by Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF) for his achievements at the State and National level over the last two years.
Having identified the talent, AMF is keen to support Gopichand pursue his swimming career both at the international and national level.
AMF has announced that they will sponsor Gopichand’s participation at Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, being held at Tokyo, Japan, between August 25 and September 6, 2020.
Also, AMF donated artificial limbs worth Rs. 7.50 lakhs to enable Gopichand overcome his physical disability.
