India’s largest youth festival, the Under 25 Summit, kicks off the 2019 edition with a pre-event fashion show “Mr. and Mis-Match”. The show was hosted on Sunday at the Samsung Opera House, Bengaluru, and was based on the theme “mismatch”. The theme required the participants to experiment with their attire and bring out a fusion of styles. The team from Jain College Jayanagar emerged as the winners of the show while Dayanand Sagar Institute’s team secured the runner-up position. This fashion show is among the multiple events and experiences that will lead up to the Under 25 Summit 2019.

The event saw participation from major educational institutions in Bangalore, like Frank Anthony Public School, Bishop Cottons and Presidency College among others. Sushruthi Krishna Errangi, first runner up - Femina Miss India (2016), Behram Siganporia, lead vocalist of the music band “Best Kept Secret” and renowned fashion photographer Lucky Malhotra were the judges for the event. “It was great to see the teams come out with such quirky outfits and present themselves with extraordinary confidence and energy”, stated Mr.Malhotra about the participants who walked the ramp at the show, while Mr.Siganporia said that all teams did a wonderful job in making the event bright and colourful.

“We are nearing the 6th edition of the Under 25 Summit this year, and it’s getting better every year. What started out in 2014 as a small event has now become a massive celebration of India’s youth. This year, we have more than 80 speakers, over 20 experience zones and much more at the Summit. We are also expecting about 15,000 people to attend the event” - says Anto Philip, Co-Founder of the Under 25 Club. Anto and his partner Shreyans Jain started the Under 25 Club during their college days as a platform for the youth to come together and showcase their ideas."
