Jain (Deemed-to-be University) to organize My Country Run 5th Edition on March 08th, 2020
Gear up runners, mark your calendars and lace up your running shoes, the record-setting marathon organized by the prestigious Jain (Deemed-to-be University) to organize My Country Run 5th Edition in Bangalore

Major General N S Rajpurohit accompanied by Dr. Chenraj Roychand, President, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) officially unveiled the My Country Run 5th edition. The event is on March 08th, 2020 at 06:00 A.M. from NICE Toll Plaza, 100 Feet Ring Road, Hosakerehalli, BSK III Stage, Bengaluru. The Garden City of India will witness a run of epic proportions as more than 15,000 runners are estimated to participate this year.

In the event of the inauguration, Major General N S Rajpurohit said, “I appeal to every citizen of this country to take part in the run which is uniting a nation for such a wonderful cause.”

“We always believe and practice the philosophy of a healthy mind and fit body is essential for success. Sports in our country need a big boost and My Country Run is an initiative to bring out the best sporting talents in our Country”, quoted Dr. Chenraj Roychand, President, Jain (Deemed-to-be University).

Carrying on with its legacy of supporting social causes and environmental well-being, MCR 2020 will run on the theme of “Fit India” and “Go-Green” initiatives. It also aims at spreading awareness about environmental conservation through the adoption of sustainable practices for a cleaner and greener future.

The run features “Elite 10K” designed for professional runners and athletes and an “Open 10k” for other participants. To commemorate International Women’s Day, a special segment of the run titled “Cool 5k” has been planned.

Having made its mark in the esteemed India Books of Records and Asia Book of Records for being the largest run to encourage sports and health, My Country Run is all set to raise the bar this year.
